[Luceti seems so calm right now. Active, but silently making white noise over the treetops around them—Ian's favorite type of place. And it was a good thing, too: no one is in need of money more than this guy well, had someone actually told him things were free and he couldn't leave, anyway. He has a blanket laid out, and a bag sat right in the middle. Full of little powder-filled glasses, freshly made and found in his stuff at the item shop, as well as his awesome clothes (note: not really). This medicine was his usual method of getting cash, when his pockets were empty. Granted, some people might not ever use his medicine if they knew what was in it, but what they can't know won't hurt 'em! In fact, it'll heal 'em! 8D

Oh yeah, and he left his journal in a bush in the forest, by accident. Whoops. He'll be sure to get that when he realizes it could help him.]

I guess so. Most people here prefer something with flavour, but I can do water too. [She waves a vague hand at one of the many chairs and long tables around the Welcome Centre.] Have a seat, I'll just go get you a glass.

[And takes a seat he does! All the while looking around the place like it were a new mysterious world.]

This place sure has some really nice places... A welcome center! Ah, I think all villages all over the place should have one a-piece.

[Clink clink clink. She comes back with his water since well, that doesn't take as long as making hot drinks.]

Yeah! Whaddya' think? Wouldn't be too bad of an idea, since most people travel randomly back home—half the time, I never even know where I am unless I ask!

[analyzing]

Hmm...

That depends! Do they have road signs? Or something that says "Welcome to wherever this is"?

[pearheaded]

Nope, nothing like that! All you could really do is buy a map and hope it has the names on it, 'cause normally I just ask whoever's around where I am... No roadsigns or anything like that.

[analyzing]

I see...

In that case, yeah. Having even just one person doing something like that in every place would be a nice thing to have. [She taps her chin for a moment before adding-] Besides, it makes places seem friendlier.

[pearheaded]

Mm, friendlier, indeed! I mean, the villages back in the forests were all pretty peaceful, but all the ones closer to The Capital and The State were always really tense and hostile, since soldiers liked to fight so close nearby.

[analyzing]

Did you have to travel to those as well- the villages closer to those two?

[pearheaded]

Ah. Well.

I don't really have a set destination, but I tend to go to them as often as I can; there are always people in need of medicine, so I would never want to leave them without mine if I can.

[analyzing]

[...well. She couldn't tell how effective this little vial was, or if it even worked but for that kind of line- well, it warmed your heart a little.

She leans forward and chuckles a little.]
