12th Partridge [Action/Voice/Event]
[You know what's horrifying? Holograms. You know what's even worse? Being Ian during them. So when you hear the horrified shrieks in the plaza, it's probably just Ian being carried by a group of lumberjacks toward a GIANT WHIRRING WOODCHIPPER. Suffice to say, Mr. Kolansky is flailing above their heads in complete terror.]
PLEASE NO, NOT THE CHIPPER, NOT THE CHIPPER!!
I'M DELICATE!!
[It's not even registering that in such situations he'd die in Luceti; thank god for the lack of fatality in this event.]
.....
[Even worse, a couple hours later he's running all across town with people dressed like this after him. Man, he hasn't had this happen in a long-ass while, but it's still far from pleasant. By the time he manages to outrun them, he's gone all through town. His clothes are entirely wrecked and his day is shot to hell, b-but at least he can try to help some people out if they need it. You can find him hiding in the bushes or hanging upside down in a tree, struggling to get his foot out of vines. Or he can slam into you at a hideous speed. Or you can find him cowering in fear behind your house.
... Or you can find him tied up over a pot of boiling water.
Look, the mob wasn't friendly, okay? Kinda obvious.]
[Voice]

D-does anyone need any instant-healing medicine? I know some people were a little 'beat up' today...
Does anyone know why these're popping up like this?
[huff.]
Ah, well. This better not interrupt Parent's Day...
[He'll be around with dirty clothes (what's new), but he'll at least be free of any holograms, should you want him to run into one of yours.]

Yes, but it's much easier leaving this way than attempting to navigate through my room right now...
[And he was about to explain why, when he notices how ragged Ian looks.] Is everything all right?
Re: [Action]
Just outrunning monsters and troublesome people. That sorta' thing.
[Action]
Would you like to come inside and rest for awhile? My room aside, the rest of our house has been relatively normal.
Re: [Action]
[considering he's rarely ever in a house. :|a]
[Action]
[...well, Ion saw it as helping, at least.]
[He pulls himself up over the window sill and manages to land without stumbling. He's had a lot of practice these past few days, after all.]
If we stay close to the house, nothing should spot us on our way to the front door.
Re: [Action]
maybe he got to in the thread :|he would've just realized he could pick you up and jump out. Huehuehuehue.aaaand he follows ion like a happy puppy]
That sounds great! You wouldn't happen to have a little water I could drink, do you?
[Action]
Of course. Though I do hope the kitchen hasn't been changed into something else...
[He chuckles as he opens the front door, checking inside for normalcy before holding the door for Ian. Everything seemed fine, for now...]
Make yourself at home, while I go get you a glass of water.
Re: [Action]
U-uh—! Be careful, while you're gone!
[And he just /flop, its down on the couch to awkwardly fiddle with his ruined sleeve. :|]
[Action]
[Unless, you know, the kitchen changes while he's in there. Which it is going to, because this is Luceti and bad things always happen here. The next time Ian glances in the direction Ion had gone, it'll have turned into a dense forest.]
[In his house.]
[Because what is logic to the Malnosso?]
Re: [Action]
...
Uhh. Ion. You okay in there?
[Action]
[Ian can wait all he likes. No one seems to be coming back out.]
Re: [Action]
He bounds into the forest like a hero]
Ioooon!! Where are you?! Did a lion get ya'?! Talk to me!
[HELLO PLANT. KARATE CHOP!! >:^|]
[Action]
[And that's where Ion is, staring down at the city just a few feet away. When he turns around, he looks a bit surprised to see Ian there. For a moment, he almost forgot where he was.]
Oh, Ian. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to keep you waiting. Before I could find a glass, everything changed around me...
Re: [Action]
Wooow... Looks like The Capital, kinda'...
[Action]
This is the capital city of Daath, Headquarters to the Order of Lorelei. I used to live here...
[And yet illusion or not, it didn't feel right to think of this place, this city, as his home. He glances back at Ian and smiles.]
But I guess I still do, in a way. After all, this is really just the kitchen.
Re: [Action]
This place can really just bring back your home, even if it's not real? That's pretty crazy...
