[You know what's horrifying? Holograms. You know what's even worse? Being Ian during them. So when you hear the horrified shrieks in the plaza, it's probably just Ian being carried by a group of lumberjacks toward a GIANT WHIRRING WOODCHIPPER. Suffice to say, Mr. Kolansky is flailing above their heads in complete terror.]
PLEASE NO, NOT THE CHIPPER, NOT THE CHIPPER!!
I'M DELICATE!!
[It's not even registering that in such situations he'd die in Luceti; thank god for the lack of fatality in this event.]
.....
[Even worse, a couple hours later he's running all across town with people dressed like this after him. Man, he hasn't had this happen in a long-ass while, but it's still far from pleasant. By the time he manages to outrun them, he's gone all through town. His clothes are entirely wrecked and his day is shot to hell, b-but at least he can try to help some people out if they need it. You can find him hiding in the bushes or hanging upside down in a tree, struggling to get his foot out of vines. Or he can slam into you at a hideous speed. Or you can find him cowering in fear behind your house.
... Or you can find him tied up over a pot of boiling water.
Look, the mob wasn't friendly, okay? Kinda obvious.]
[Voice]

D-does anyone need any instant-healing medicine? I know some people were a little 'beat up' today...
Does anyone know why these're popping up like this?
[huff.]
Ah, well. This better not interrupt Parent's Day...
[He'll be around with dirty clothes (what's new), but he'll at least be free of any holograms, should you want him to run into one of yours.]

[Whatever he was about to say is rudely interrupted when the lumberjacks drop him on his face. Otherwise, he'd just cheerlead you as you kicked ass. But hey, he's nice enough to reach out and trip one of them by the ankle, at least.]
no subject
And it's kind of nice to not have to worry about hurting them. It's not too long before they've all vanished.]
Lumberjacks? Seriously?
[She leans down to offer Ian a hand up.]
no subject
Well, yanno, they can be pretty scary, right? If they have axes and woodchippers they wanna use on people... E-eheheheh.
no subject
Well, ya seem ta be in one piece.
[So she'll just be on her way.]
no subject
[:C I liked this shirt.
also, walking after you like you're not trying to get away]
Where'd ya' learn how to fight? That was pretty good!
no subject
[Not strictly true, but whatever. >>
'My mom is a terrorist that was training me to help her destroy the world' just doesn't roll of the tongue as well.]

no subject
Yeah, well - it was a special school.
[Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, after all. Sounds way more posh than the sort of place that would ever normally let her in.]

no subject
Then why don't ya go to the school here?
no subject
[Don't let my face deceive you, I'm an old fart.]
no subject
So? If ya wanna do it, ya should do it.

[DETERMINED FISTPUMP. FUCK YEAH!]
Even if I'm not very bright, it'll be worth it!
no subject
...the moment has now past.]
That's the spirit.
[She's not trolling at allllllllllllll.]
no subject
... Yeah he can't even see the trolling.]
You're a real nice gal, Rogue! I appreciate the pick-me-up!
And the saving thing, too.
no subject
Don't mention it.
[Abrupt left turn! Let's see if that shakes him.]
no subject
Ah, u-uh, well—if you ever need any help, just ask...!
no subject
She raises a gloved hand in farewell.]
Don't fall into any wood chippers.
no subject
[He finally waves back, a bit flustered at the reply.
V///V Saved from a wood chipper. SIGH MY LIFE.]
